Privacy Policy

RV Digital Works publishes RV Command Center Pro, which helps you organize RV maintenance, expenses, trips, inventory, documents, and checklists. This policy explains how the iPhone, iPad, Windows and Android apps, website, and licensing, cloud backup, and synchronization services handle information. Contact: rvcommandcenterpro@gmail.com.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the records you enter and the photos or files you attach on your device. These may include an owner name, home location, RV identification details such as a VIN or license plate, maintenance and service history, purchases and costs, trip destinations and dates, equipment details, documents, and notes. You decide what to enter. Avoid including information that is unnecessary for your RV records.

Local backup files contain your records and attachments. You choose where to store or share those files and are responsible for protecting the copies you create.

Licensing and purchases

To start a courtesy period, activate the app, or validate access, the app communicates with our licensing service. It sends an app or device identifier, device name or model, device platform where applicable, and the license key you enter. Android derives its device identifier from an app-scoped Android identifier using a hash; the raw Android identifier is not sent to our service. The service maintains activation and validation records, including relevant timestamps and device allowances, to provide access and prevent misuse.

iPhone and iPad offer a one-time Apple in-app purchase. For purchase verification and restoration, the app sends Apple transaction and product identifiers and signed transaction information to our licensing service. The service verifies entitlement with Apple and retains transaction references, purchase environment and purchase-status timestamps so it can issue or recover the same license and handle refunds or revocation. Apple handles payment-card details. Android offers a one-time purchase through Google Play. The app sends the purchase token and product and package identifiers to our licensing service so it can verify the purchase with Google, issue or recover the associated license, and handle purchase status changes. Google handles payment-card details. Etsy and Payhip handle purchases made through their checkout pages; we may retain the buyer name, email, order reference, and support correspondence needed to deliver and support a license. The apps do not ask for or receive your full payment-card number. Microsoft Store provides Windows installation and updates; it does not process our separate license purchase.

Optional cloud backup and synchronization

When you choose Encrypted Cloud Backup, the app uploads an encrypted copy of your records, settings, and eligible attachments for later restoration. The allowance is one current backup up to 72 MB. Cross-Device Sync has a separate 72 MB allowance for synchronized files. When you choose cloud synchronization, the app uploads supported RV records and attachments so they can be synchronized with other devices activated under the same license. Uploaded information can include the record types described above, photos, receipts, and documents. The service also handles record identifiers, revisions, deletion markers, file sizes, and synchronization timestamps.

Devices using the same license share one cloud workspace and can access the synchronized records and attachments. Sharing a key with someone outside your intended household devices can expose private information, mix records and propagate edits or deletions. Keep your key private. A license permits up to two iPhones/iPads, two Android devices and two Windows computers. Synchronization is manual and requires internet access. You can use local recordkeeping without choosing cloud synchronization.

How information is used and handled

We use this information to provide the app's features, verify entitlements, synchronize records, respond to support requests, and protect the service from misuse. The app does not contain advertising or an advertising identifier SDK. It does not request GPS-location access; locations in your RV records are information you enter yourself.

Cloudflare provides infrastructure for licensing, cloud backup, and synchronization. Apple provides App Store purchasing, purchase restoration and distribution for iPhone and iPad. Google provides Google Play purchasing and distribution; Microsoft provides Windows distribution. Etsy and Payhip provide their respective checkout and digital-order services. Information may be processed by these providers as needed to deliver their services. If you choose to export, share, or open a file in another app, that destination handles the copy you send under its own practices. If you contact support, we receive the information you include in your message.

Website visits

The website maintains an aggregate visit counter. A browser cookie named rvccp_visitor helps avoid counting repeat visits from the same browser and lasts for up to one year. This counter does not store your RV records or license key. Hosting providers may process request information needed to deliver and protect the website. Links to stores and social networks take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Security

The app uses encrypted HTTPS connections for its licensing and synchronization service. Supported synchronized record contents and attachments are also encrypted by the app before upload. Licensing credentials are involved in this encryption and authentication; protect your license key. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Exported backups and files shared outside the app must be deleted separately. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete cloud information.

Deleting a supported record and then synchronizing sends the deletion to the synchronization service. Cloud copies, synchronization metadata, and licensing records are retained as needed to operate the service, honor purchases, prevent misuse, and meet applicable obligations.

To request deletion of cloud information or ask about retained licensing information, email rvcommandcenterpro@gmail.com with the subject "RV Command Center Pro data deletion". Identify the app and the license involved without sending payment-card details. We may need to verify your authority over the license before processing a request. Explain whether you want cloud records deleted while retaining purchased access. Deleting a license itself can affect activation and access on its associated devices. Some information may need to be retained for legal, purchase-verification, or security reasons; we will explain any applicable limitations when responding.

Audience and changes

The app is intended for RV owners and travelers age 16 and over. It is not designed for children under 16. Contact us if you believe a child under 16 has supplied personal information through the service.
